Usually the biggest problem we all face when we live on Facebook and YouTube is the inclusion of our branding. That means including our logo. This feature is not available to the general public on YouTube and Facebook. The logo can be added through the facebook live producer on the verified Facebook page. If not, you need to use some 3rd patry software. This post introduces OBS STUDIO open software. Introducing how to go live with this software and add live logo and scroll text
STEP 1
Let us first see how we bring the camera source in OBS STUDIO .
Open OBS studio, here we can see OBS STUDIO windows are divided in to 6 parts. Monitor, Scenes, Sources, Audio mixer, Scene Transition and controls.
When you start a project in OBS studio, every input you bring into the software is generated within the scenes. We can create scenes for our needs and sort the sources into scenes. Here we have already new scene created when open the software. In this tutorial, we will use only one scene.
first we need add camera in to the OBS Studio. To add a camera source in to OBS Studio click on '+' icon or right click in the Source box
$ads={1}
Now we can see a list of OBS studio input sources. here we need to a camera source input. to select a camera source click and select Video capture device from the list. after a new window will appear. here we can name the camera source, and click Ok
STEP 2
Now we see a new window. We can see this window every time we bring the camera input to the OBS. In this window you can see the properties of the camera and you can make some changes.
You can see a preview of your camera at the top of this window. Below that you will see devices In it you will see the option to select the camera. Then you have the option to activate / deactivate the camera input and adjust the configuration.
In Resolution / Fps, we can select Custom, in which we can change the resolution of the camera and Fps as per our requirement and then click OK to continue.
STEP 3
In this tutorial, we use the laptop 's camera (blur is because it is damaged) as its resolution is small and stands on a small part of the screen. We can adjust the size by clicking on the edge points of the video.
Here we replaces the camera preview with an image(blur is because it is damaged). We can see our camera in the sources tab. On the right side of the camera source you will see an eye and lock icon. Using this you can lock the source and disable the video preview.
STEP 4
Now we bring the camera input to the Obs. Now we need to add the logo. To do this, right-click Or click on '+' icon on the Source table as we did earlier. Then select the image from the list that appears
